Terms and Conditions - Adopt your almond tree

1. Service Purpose

The "Adopt your Almond Tree" service offered by Agrigiacobbe consists of a symbolic and educational agricultural experience that allows the customer to support and follow the production cycle of an almond tree cultivated on the farm.

Adherence to the service includes informative content, periodic updates, photographic reports, and the shipment of the products indicated in the commercial offer.

The purchase does not entail in any case:

  • the transfer of ownership of the almond tree;
  • the transfer of real or personal rights over the agricultural land;
  • the transfer of shares of agricultural production;
  • corporate or entrepreneurial participation in the agricultural activity.

2. Adoption Duration

The adoption has a duration of twelve (12) months from the date of purchase, unless otherwise indicated in the product sheet.

At the end of the foreseen period, the adoption is considered concluded and does not automatically renew.

3. Included Services

The adoption experience includes:

  • symbolic assignment of an almond tree;
  • personalized adoption certificate;
  • initial shipment of 2 packages of shelled Filippo Cea variety almonds;
  • quarterly photographic reports on the state of cultivation;
  • periodic updates on agricultural activities;
  • final shipment of an indicative quantity between 1 and 3 kg of Filippo Cea variety in-shell almonds.

4. Agricultural Nature of the Service

Agricultural activity is subject to uncontrollable natural factors, including:

  • weather conditions;
  • drought;
  • frosts;
  • hailstorms;
  • plant diseases and pests;
  • extraordinary events and force majeure.

For these reasons, Agrigiacobbe does not guarantee predetermined production quantities, continuity of production, or uniform aesthetic characteristics of the harvest.

5. Harvest Quantity and Availability

The quantity of almonds indicated in the offer represents an estimated guideline based on average farm productions.

The quantity actually available may vary depending on seasonal trends and the agricultural conditions of the reference year.

6. Photographic Reports and Updates

Photographic reports and informative content are for illustrative and documentary purposes only.

The images sent may represent:

  • the almond tree associated with the adoption;
  • production areas of the farm;
  • processing and seasonal activities;
  • stages of the vegetative and productive cycle.

7. Almond Tree Replacement

Agrigiacobbe reserves the right to replace the almond tree associated with the adoption if this becomes necessary for agronomic or productive reasons, including:

  • death of the plant;
  • damage;
  • unproductivity;
  • technical needs for farm management;
  • extraordinary natural events.

The replacement does not involve additional costs for the customer.

8. Shipments

Shipments are made to the address indicated by the customer during the purchase process.

Agrigiacobbe cannot be held responsible for:

  • delays attributable to the courier;
  • incorrect or incomplete addresses provided by the customer;
  • absence of the recipient;
  • failure to collect shipments;
  • force majeure events preventing delivery.

9. Right of Withdrawal

The experience includes the immediate activation of personalized services, digital content, and the preparation of food products intended for the customer.

By purchasing, the customer expressly requests the immediate commencement of service execution.

The right of withdrawal is governed by current legislation and may be limited or excluded in the cases provided for by Article 59 of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code).

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Agrigiacobbe cannot be held responsible for direct or indirect damages arising from:

  • adverse weather events;
  • total or partial loss of harvest;
  • delays in agricultural activities;
  • production interruptions;
  • force majeure events;
  • circumstances beyond its control.

The processing of personal data takes place in compliance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and applicable legislation on personal data protection.
